Go out

Bouxwiller, the only Alsatian town with the Small City of Character label , is one of the prettiest small towns in Alsace. Take the time to get lost in its streets, discover its adorable tea rooms (and in particular "Au charme du passé" to hunt for beautiful Alsatian antiques while tasting Pascal's delicious pastries), its museums and its magnificent buildings.
A few kilometers from Bouxwiller, you can also discover the magnificent Lalique museum in Wingen sur Moder or the international glass art center in Meisenthal.

In another atmosphere, the very famous review of the Royal Palace of Kirrwiller awaits you for a show of madness. Possibility to eat on site, lounge and dancing tea. Like the great Parisian cabarets, the Royal Palace will dazzle you with a thousand lights.

Let's not forget the unmissable town of Saverne, where you will find, in the main street full of charm and character, many shops of all kinds, restaurants, chocolate makers... go eat an ice cream at the local chocolate maker Boeckel or drink a local beer (La Licorne, of course) by the canal in a relaxed and festive atmosphere all summer long. And above all, take advantage of the many activities, concerts, fairs, Christmas markets, parades, offered all year round by the town hall.

If you are a beer lover, don't miss the Meteor beer museum in Hochfelden, a local brewery known to all beer lovers.

Our house is filled with typical pottery. Do you like them? So do not hesitate to visit the pottery villages of Betschdorf and Soufflenheim. Dozens of artisan shops to find your happiness.

And why not spend a day in beautiful Strasbourg? Or discover the famous wine route? If you feel like it, we will show you the best routes and good addresses.

Eat nearby

Many good restaurants in the region, between Bouxwiller, Neuwiller-lès-Saverne or Saverne… but our favorite of all remains the S’Bastberger Stuewel in Imbsheim (1 min walk from the house).
In the middle of a magical setting with a thousand witches, you will discover the delicious local specialties and the joie de vivre of Annie, the real and adorable witch of the place. Restaurant renowned throughout Alsace, not to be missed under any circumstances! Reservation required otherwise impossible to get a table.
In Marlenheim, the Benjamin pastry shop will delight you with ease. In our opinion, the best pastry chef in France.
