A Taste of Alsace and the Seasons

At Au Fil du Temps, hospitality is also expressed around the table.
By reservation, we offer our guests a seasonal dinner centred on generous, carefully prepared cuisine, inspired both by Alsace and by whatever inspires us at the time.

We favour local produce and short supply chains and, whenever the garden allows, vegetables, fruit and herbs from our own kitchen garden. The recipes change with the seasons: sometimes rooted in Alsatian traditions, sometimes more personal, but always homemade.

Dinner consists of a starter, a main course and a dessert. It is served in one of the historic rooms of the house or, when the weather allows, in the courtyard or garden.

More than simply a meal, the table d’hôtes is a moment to share: a time to savour, talk and gently extend the pleasures of the day.

BREAKFAST

Taking Time to Begin the Day
In the morning, the house awakens around breakfast.

Generously served to our guests, it celebrates homemade food, quality ingredients and the flavours of the region.

Bread and pastries, preserves, fruit, dairy products, cheeses and charcuterie, hot drinks and homemade specialities come together in a breakfast that evolves with the seasons and with what the garden has to offer.

In the warmer months, fruit and herbs from the kitchen garden naturally find their way to the table. When winter returns, breakfast moves back into the welcoming atmosphere of the house’s historic rooms.

Here, morning is not simply something to get through before heading out to explore Alsace.
It is already part of the experience.

SEASONAL POP-UP TEAROOMS

A Different House with Every Season

On selected dates throughout the year, Au Fil du Temps opens its doors beyond its guest rooms and, for a few days, becomes a seasonal pop-up tearoom.

In spring, summer, autumn and as Christmas approaches, the house and garden take on a different atmosphere and décor.

Guests can settle beneath the great chestnut tree in the courtyard, among the garden, or inside the historic rooms of the house to enjoy homemade cakes and pastries, hot and cold drinks, and light savoury dishes depending on the occasion.

Each edition is inspired by the season: flowers and fruit from the garden, autumn colours, Christmas traditions or local legends in turn shape both the setting and the treats on offer.

These special occasions are also another way to discover Au Fil du Temps: step inside the house, wander through the garden and, for a few hours, simply enjoy being here.
